Wander Not to Get Lost by Sushant Thapa

Ruffle the fallen leaves that want to rise.

Open the window of the sky to allow

The brimming light.

I shake your hand not with trepid recognition;

Place my mind where the music is felt soft.

Beauty elevates to the point where memory imprints the image.

I have known many who have

Sailed to the holy city like Banaras.

Have they all lost the world to pious renouncements?

Do they not kiss the bride of shy monsoon?

Have they forgotten the sheets of autumn

Where they wrote the spring of their first love?

Heels of a mountain

Increase the height of sensations where

Tiptoe walks the heart.

Aimless stars hide the countless visions of sight.

My outfit is nature cooing inside the deep and concealed visionary woods;

For I wander not to get lost.
