Guidelines for Submissions

On Hiatus

Trouvaille Review is on a temporary hiatus until August 1st. For those who have submitted and have not yet heard back from us, we will get back to you by then. In the meantime, we will not be accepting submissions. If you would like to withdraw your submission, please reply to your submission saying so.

Trouvaille Review invites poets from around the world to send us their poetry. We accept poems from people of all ages, including first-timers to experienced poets. We do NOT accept previously published works. However, simultaneous submissions are encouraged. We accept submissions on a rolling basis.

You may submit a maximum of 10 poems to us. We prefer you send at least 3 poems but less is fine as well.

Once your poems are published on our website, you may still publish them on other websites, but please do recognize Trouvaille Review as the original publication location. If your poems are selected for publication on our website, you are giving us the rights to showcase your work on our website for the duration of the journal, but you still retain all rights to them.

If we do select your poems, we ask that you wait two months before submitting to us again. If we do not select your poems, we ask that you wait one month before submitting again.

Please send your submissions to editor.trouvaillereview@gmail.com. (Please make sure to set our email address as not spam, as for some people, our response is going to the junk folder.)

For the subject of the email, write your first name followed by the number of poems you are submitting. E.g. Jonathan - 5

In the body of your email, please include your full name, a short third person bio (less than 70 words), and your poems. We do NOT open attachments, so please paste your poems in the body of the email. Please note that by submitting, you are acknowledging that all poems that are submitted are your own and that you own all rights to the poems. In addition, we will add you to our email list when you submit to let you know about upcoming events.

We will get back to you within 24 hours, but if you do not hear back from us within a week, feel free to reach out to us through the contact us page of this website.

Unfortunately, at the time, we are unable to pay our contributors. We hope to see your poems soon!
