My Choice by Mark Jodon

The doorbell of suffering is ringing.

Through the window the sun is shining,

and the skies are cloudless, clear and blue.

Today I will not answer the door.

Mark Jodon’s poetry shows up in peculiar places, such as a doctoral dissertation, contemplative worship services, and featured in a photography exhibition.  Day of the Speckled Trout (Transcendent Zero Press) is a full-length collection of his poems.  Mark lives in Houston, Texas, and is an Iconoclast Artist.
