Imitation of Nature by Lois Perch Villemaire

Mother Nature paints

with an expert brush,

primary colors are her specialty,

we can only try to imitate the hues,

she has mastered the art,

creating infinite reflections,

vibrant and deep,

with warmth and softness,

inviting a closer look,

to explore our version of peace.

Lois Perch Villemaire resides in Annapolis, MD. Her stories, memoir flash, and poetry have been published in such places as Six Sentences, Trouvaille Review, FewerThan500, The Drabble, Pen In Hand, and Flora Fiction. Her poems have been included in several anthologies published by Truth Serum Press, Global Insides - the Vaccine, and American Writers Review 2021.
