Winter Months by Melissa Kelly

With the winter months

Comes windy snow storms

Blowing the last remaining leaves

Off the now bare trees

White flakes cover cars and roads

As the plows bury garage cans

Deeper under the snow

Paths are shoveled only to

be covered minutes later

Out the foggy frosted window

The brightness from the flakes

Like diamond crystal sparkle

When the sun finally breaks
