The Unwilling Traveler by Sandy Rochelle

The boat moved closer to the shore.

I spied my grandmother long past and much loved.

Sitting in a chair.

My chair was not designed for my broken back.

But I sat and waited for my boat to reach the shore.

One must wait you know without expectation.

The waves carried me through the unsettled waters.
