Quilling Mind by Anila Arun Pillai

Mere minnow laid low

Pulled over to the peak

Demeaning found core full

Moon milk lit sky stood gazing

Stars shredded it’s light seems too.

Suddenly

Thunder strike twice,

Menace, up above the gaze

Azure stood unhooked, quickened else ones

To survive!

Tears rolled cold breeze flowed

Dams parted and flooded race,

Water wrecked much below,

Awaiting the windy waters to pour,

Stood I...!

And then came a drop heavy enough

To stay,

As in hand came to remind,

Forgiving gives calmness easy never though

Mind tends to forget what pumps in heart strong

Not revenge avenge a need still

Cocoon longs me to crawl.

Braided stood in chains

Railing against the tide

Quietly playing with the quill,

Light hearted pieces maximum bleeds, realised,

World is this seen as quilts.
