Papa and Mama are Gods by Akinwole John Akintayo

They are mountains,
that my eyes explores daily
because I'm yet to see their extent.
Their grace, endless like the cloud,

Their mouths are like
two edged swords: one edge
to stab my insecurities, and
the other to chastise my wrongs,

They are simply pages
that words cannot fill;
canvases that arts
cannot do justice to,

They are deities whose libations
are the success stories of
their offsprings; gods that can
never be fully eulogized.

Akinwole John Akintayo is a writer. He believes the easiest way he can contribute his quota to the world is through writing. Brymo's songs inspires him.
