Moonlight Song by Tonmoi Das Kashyap

The tune touched

every cell of my body,

flowed through my veins;

a song I played

amid my sleepless nights.

I look up

admire the stars

influenced by their twinkle.

A creek of the door

occurred by the gentle breeze

play hide and seek.

Rustle of leaves

of a distant tree

break the course.

I lay perplexedly

on my rocking chair

smoke my pipe

and close my eyes.
