MIGHT TREMBLES by Siddhika Didel

The scourge slipped over her

Like a silk sheet.

Soft at first,

And then gently suffocating.

Sleepy laughter

And caffeinated late nights.

She craved to surrender,

Tears fall even from the big, brave sky.

The tempest fabricated an incise

On her heart, so deep.

But fireworks exploded

In her bright eyes.

Siddhika Didel, a high school senior studying Science, Math, and Economics in Rajasthan, India, discovers out of her riotous schedule by incidental drafting and tries to convey to individuals another window of recognition.
