Losing Grace by Palash Mahmud

Now I know-

it’s not a dream.

A new art of supremacy

breaking mutual ground.

Now I know-

what’s losing grace?

Dripping tears

on fallen crest.

Now I know-

what happens?

When we

let lies to pile up.

When we

deny differences to grow.

Calling cries to roll down

cutting compassions to show up.

Now I know-

what is human?

You are not you

without us.

We are not we

without you.

The meanness

of our spirit.

Plodding everything

down drain.
