Longevity by Henry Bladon

As you drift off,

you imagine a poem

about the night sky

which talks about

fairy dust

and candy canes,

then images

of someone

with whom you can

share your theory

of longevity

which suggests

that the more

you dream

the longer you live.

Henry is a writer, poet and mental health essayist based in Somerset in the UK. He has a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Birmingham. He is the author of several poetry collections and his work can be seen in Poetic Bond, Pure Slush, and Lunate, among other places.
