Getting Older by Debbie Hewson

I know that I am getting older

I’ve got dodgy feet and a frozen shoulder

I remember times when I was bolder

When I would smile and my eyes would smoulder

I hope that I know a little more

On which subjects, currently, I am unsure

But my soul is young and it can still soar

I’ll fly free and defy aging law

Debbie Hewson lives near to the beach in Dorset, and is currently learning to surf, badly, and trying to restore a very old house, which has other plans. She loves to write.
