Before the golden dawn by Carrie Magness Radna

Before the golden dawn,

the light of early morning

colors a soft blue sky,

heavenly aquamarine.

Words or notes

are sweetly invented;

they wake up creative types

from deepest slumber—

until they come out

to muddy clean pages;

when art is created,

the light grows stronger.
