Robert Pegel

Robert Pegel is a husband and father whose only child, his son Calvin, passed away four years ago.  Calvin died in his sleep of unknown causes at age 16.  Robert turned to writing poetry to make sense of the unimaginable. He thinks it helps him process his pain and loss.  He hopes his poems resonate with others going through difficult times. Robert graduated from Columbia University where he majored in English.  He has only recently begun submitting his poems.  He has been published in Bluepepper, Down in the Dirt, and the Unique Poetry Journal.
